  • Location Data: Real-time location while the app is in use, even when running in the background (only with your permission).
  • Usage Data: Trip history, search queries, app interactions, and features you use within the Platform.
  • Device Data: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and mobile network information.
  • Communications: Calls or texts between deliveryrs and drivers made through our in-app system may be recorded for safety and quality purposes.

3. Information From Third Parties

  • Background Checks (Drivers): We receive background check results from authorized third-party providers to verify driver eligibility.
  • Insurance & Financial Partners: Information related to insurance coverage and payment processing from our financial service partners.
  • Referral Programs: If someone refers you, we may receive your name and contact details from those who recommend our services.
  • Corporate Accounts: If your employer uses Oxen for business travel, they may provide us with your information.

  • Match deliveryrs with nearby available drivers.
  • Process payments and send trip receipts.
  • Detect, prevent, and report fraudulent or unsafe activity.

  • Improve and personalize your in-app experience.

C. How We Share Your Information

1. With Other Shippers

  • deliveryrs: We share your driver's name, photo, vehicle details, and real-time location during a trip.
  • Drivers: We share your first name, pickup location, and rating with your assigned driver.
  • Safety Roles: Other passengers may see your general trip information if you choose to share deliverys.

2. With Third Parties

  • Service providers who help us operate and improve the Platform (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors, analytics).
  • Insurance companies for claims processing and vehicle coverage purposes.
  • As otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.

3. For Legal & Safety Reasons

We may disclose your information to comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, respond to legal process, protect the rights and safety of Oxen, our Shippers, or the public, or prevent fraud or security issues.

D. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as you maintain an active account with us. We verify some information after account termination to fulfill legal and regulatory obligations. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information unless we are legally required to retain it.

E. Your Rights

  • Delete your account and request data deletion.

Oxen is not intended for Shippers under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
